LifeBook Experience Manager
We are seeking Experience Managers. This is a freelance role requiring an ongoing commitment to managing the end-to-end process in producing an Author’s biography (each of which typically takes up to six months).
The Experience Manager role is to:
- Manage one or more projects at any one time
- Ensure the quality of editorial standard for content, generated on a weekly basis by Ghostwriters
- Supervise the performance of the Interviewers
- Ensure the Author’s experience always meets or exceeds their expectations of LifeBook
- Deliver the layout and production of a high-quality press PDR (using CS5 InDesign or Quark), which will be used by our printers to generate the Author’s biography
- Regularly liaise with our printers, and communicate with the Operations Manager throughout the process
The skills required are:
- Typesetting and layout skills – access to Adobe CS5 (InDesign and Photoshop) or Quark
- Work experience in media, production and/or journalism
- Experience in project management, including mentoring and leading a team
- Proof-reading skills
